My daughter's wedding was this past weekend and the bridal party and several guests stayed at the Watermark. Thank you for opening in time for us!!! The Watermark employees could not have been better. They went above and beyond to help us make it a wonderful weekend. Housekeeping, valets, bellmen and front desk personnel were all amazing!!! Mr. Bill even made sure my son-in-law got a belt Friday evening when he realized he had forgotten his at home. Some of the bellmen helped us get everything to and from the Shaw Center before and after the wedding. The staff could not have been more helpful in alleviating the stress of making it all come together! The hotel is beautiful!! It is truly a wonderful blend of the old and the new. The suite my daughter and son-in-law were in for their wedding night overlooked their wedding venue at the Shaw Center! We were even allowed to take some pictures with the bridal party before the wedding (ladies and gentlemen separately of course) on the marble stairs and by the vault door! I cannot stress enough how AMAZING the staff is! Marriott corporate and Mr. Wampold should feel privileged and honored to have such a professional and considerate team working for them. The Autograph tag line is correct - "It’s exactly like nothing else!" THANK YOU!!!

Great bedding, beautiful furnishings! Better than boutique hotel I recently stayed in NYC.

Gorgeous hotel that has maintained the building's historic features. An outstanding staff all around! Beautiful and clean rooms with breathtaking views of the river and old state Capitol. Located right in the heart of downtown so everything is in walking distance. By far the best hotel in Baton Rouge!! Definitely our new spot to stay in BR!

We stayed with the Watermark for the weekend of October 15, 2016. Our wedding was at the Shaw Center so we wanted something very close.. This was literally a 4 minute walk.. If that! They staff was incredible even though we were the first official guest and they were having glitches! Bill was AMAZING! My husband and I were so thrilled to be able to meet him and look forward to staying here on our anniversary and seeing him again! The night of our rehearsal my then fiancée, forgot his belt and was very upset because he wanted to look perfect (even though he always does). We walked out, ran into Bill told him what was going on and in seconds he had a guy on the line from a shop down the street. Michael walked in and bought his belt with 5 mins to spare!! They truly cared about us and our entire family. Even though the hotel was still getting everything finalized I would not have stayed at another location!! Can't wait to be back in October 2017!

The concierge went way beyond the norm for our group- not only told us where to dine, gave us a card for a discount on the tab but also walked us down the street to Capital City Grill! Amazing customer service! Beautiful renovation. We enjoyed meeting in the vault especially!
