My wife Arienne and I choose a new boutique hotel every month to visit somewhere across the country, usually within a four to six hour drive of our home in the Woodlands, Texas. We feel we've been to some of the best (and not so good) and we must say we were pleasantly surprised by the Watermark. Any opportunity I get to enjoy my best friend on a date night weekend away from our children I try and make it count. Though I can't take full credit for this one (she found this jewel of a location) I will definitely say we have enjoyed our three days here. From check-in when we subtly mentioned wine choices to a very exuberant check in staff (we love the energy in which they welcome new guests) only to find a bottle in our room, to the incredible food selection prepared by well trained chefs and served by two amazing hostesses and an outstanding wait staff (Kirstie) we have been blown away! We call the Woodlands home and are both therapists with clinics specializing in PTSD. Stressful days with hurting people can be the norm from time to time in our field and with our staff. The Watermark was a good decision for us right up there with Hotel ZaZa and Hotel Granduca in quality. The valet procedure may be a little confusing at first compared to those hotels, though during our check in the young man who helped us was spectacular, but our Sprinter was always parked and ready to go and they knew us by name quickly. Outstanding is all we can say!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Watermark. The hotel was immaculate and the staff was polite. Mr. Bill sealed the deal when we were checking out. He said that this hotel is grateful for anyone that chooses to stay here no matter their race or background because people don't have to choose their hotel. Then he went on to personally encourage us as we were departing. We do a lot of traveling but we will never forget this stay!!

Incredible, phenomenal experience and that's coming from a major hotel snob. From check-in to picking the car up at valet, the experience was spot on.
