A Reflective Tribute At The USS Kidd Veterans Memorial

Can I stay overnight on the USS Kidd?

An overnight on the Kidd is a rare opportunity for groups of up to 20 guests to gain first-hand experience about life in close quarters, as our brave service members faced German U-boats and Japanese kamikaze aircraft attacks. Larger groups can privately reserve the entire ship for up to 100 overnight guests.

Does the museum offers school tours and resources for teachers?

The USS Kidd wants to make every visit as fun and educational as possible, which is why they have developed a full Teacher's Portal that offers a number of educational resources. Teachers can download lesson activity sheets, crossword puzzles and coloring sheets designed to teach and explain various aspects of the history of this amazing piece of naval architecture. Guided school tours are also offered of the USS KIDD and last about 1.5 hours.
