We came to stay a night during COVID-19 virus time to get away from home and regroup. Most things that were normally open weren’t but the deli downstairs was and it was delicious. Everyone was friendly. Liked the robes in the room also!

The entire staff from the bellman, to the front desk girls, to the bartenders, the handsome waiters and chef’s ... everyone is gracious, professional and helpful, the epitome of southern hospitality. ... the historic hotel is gorgeous and has amazing food. Known for their duck, the pork chop and steak are amazing too as are the brussle sprouts.

We loved staying here at the Watermark hotel. service was impeccable. Restaurant menu choices was good but overall very good tasting. The hotel itself was impeccable and beautiful. I highly recommend you stay here.

We stayed here for our son’s wedding and had the rehearsal dinner downstairs in The Founder’s Room. The food and service were excellent and we received many compliments on the dinner. Our room was very nice and room service was also good. The CRAB CAKES are probably my favorite part of our stay here. I had them three times in three days! The chef was so kind as to even share the recipe with me and he was such a sweetheart to do so. He really cares about his food and it shows. The hospitality manager went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay. And we did!!! Can’t wait to go back! The Watermark and The Gregory are now our favorite place in downtown Baton Rouge. Huge THANK YOU to everyone there! 🙏🏼❤️
