The Louisiana Marathon

The Louisiana Marathon is a multi-distance running festival in Baton Rouge offering a full marathon, half marathon, quarter marathon, 5K and a kids’ marathon that attract both competitive and recreational runners. Race weekend features a two-day packet pickup and health & fitness expo hosted in the Raising Cane’s River Center ballroom alongside a Finish Fest and spectator-friendly course through downtown Baton Rouge and LSU’s campus. The full and half courses are USATF‑certified and certified as Boston-qualifying routes, making the event notable for early-season runners seeking fast, flat courses.
