Prices -

 Admission is $8.75 for Adults/Teens; $7.75 for Seniors; $5.75 for Children 2-12; Free for Children 1 & under. Group rates are $1 off regular prices. 
 

Hours -

 The Zoo's admission gate is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. The zoo grounds close at 5:00 p.m. every day. The zoo is open every day of the year except for New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

  • Can I hold a birthday party at the zoo?

    The Baton Rouge Zoo is the perfect place for a "Zooper" birthday party. Go wild with your favorite animals and celebrate in style. Parties are available for booking at 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily. To reserve, just visit the zoo's website and complete an online registration form.
  • Is there a restaurant at the zoo?

    The Flamingo Cafe is open daily and serves up delicious food, drinks and snacks to satisfy young and old alike. Seasonal concessions are available at Cool Critters Cafe near the KidZoo. You can also purchase drinks to go at either restaurant or at vending machines located throughout the zoo. As there are no picnic facilities, guests are asked to not bring food and drinks to the zoo.
