Loved this hidden gem!
Small, intimate property in Downtown Baton Rouge. Good restaurant and coffee shop. Would definitely recommend if you're coming into Baton Rouge for business or a couples weekend. Nice bath amenities, valet parking. Would definitely return

first watermark experience was all kind of wow
one night couple stay for pleasure, platinum. first time staying at a watermark property and came away tremendously impressed. awesome staff and gorgeous facilities. our stay started w/ a warm, genuine and helpful greeting from a valet (brown haired, gentleman w/ mustache and slight build). he couldn't have been more sincere in his welcome or helpful in efficiently getting us oriented on the local area upon our arrival. stand out service continued w/ kayla and brianna at the front desk. even though we arrived early, they were incredibly kind in expediting house keeping and gracious in providing an upgrade. They were also very helpful in explaining the building history and the resulting features. Lobby and adjoining main dining room are gorgeous. Stunning relief and sculpture works throughout. Great looks continue in the guest rooms. Impressive fixtures in the bathroom and a wonderful bed. brunch in the lobby restaurant was one of the best meals we had during our time in new orleans. our server (taller young lady w/ red hair) was outstanding explaining the options and providing recommendations. both seafood frittata and green tomato dishes were top shelf. the specialty cocktails were also quite nice. all in all, a tremendous stay. absolute recommend and will make a point to particularly consider watermark properties going forward

Nice Downtown Stay
This is a beautifully renovated historic bank building right in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge. It had a much more cosmopolitan feel than I expected in Louisiana. Rooms were "industrial chic" in my opinion - nicely appointed and a bit on the small side. The restaurant/bar was convenient and quite good. This will be my go-to hotel when in Baton Rouge in the future

Bill is a keeper!!!
Trendy & inviting. Rooms were very clean with modern touches. I was happy with the Wifi & our corporate rate included free breakfast, which is always a plus (Millford's was a treat)! The other restaurant was good, great gumbo & oysters. Nice for a business dinner. Server was pleasant and professional. The BEST part of my stay was Bill (driver). I asked for a taxi when I checked out; they asked if I was going to the airport & I told them that my destination was en route to the airport, but added that my flight was later that afternoon. They said "no problem, Bill can take you". I met Bill & he went outside to warm up the hotel's Lincoln Navigator. During the drive, I noticed that I left my phone charger in my guest room. He immediately called the head of Housekeeping & told them to retrieve it for me. He then said "I'll be back to pick you up by 2:30 (from my first destination) to take you to the airport & I'll bring your charger with me". I was overwhelmed with appreciation. He then reached into his console & handed me a phone charger, saying, "here, your phone will probably die before I get here". By this point I was gob-smacked by his thoughtfulness to help me. And as promised, at 2:15 pm, he re-arrived at my first destination to take me to the airport, returning my phone charger, as I gave his back. It is people like Bill who truly go the extra mile(s) for their guests. I would not have experienced this level of service at any other Baton Rouge Hotel. It is because of Bill's quick action to (and more importantly, "ownership" of) my dilemma and his commitment to making my life easier, that I've found my new "go-to" hotel for every visit to Baton Rouge. Bill is to be commended many times over. You have no idea how much time & aggravation he spared me. Having such a caring team member is a rare find these days. Please extend my thanks to Bill & I hope he is recognized for a job well done

Visited watermark with wife for a wedding. This was our second stay there. The rooms are very nice, good beds but they don't have ice or vending on each floor and you have to call for ice. Elevator service a tad slow and on a busy weekend I suspect tedious. Luckily it was only moderately busy. Valet service efficient but very slow. Lobby staff very nice and efficient. Bar the same way and improved much from our las stay. Hotel very different motifs as it's an old bank and wall coverings pics of old time Baton Rouge. Biggest negative is the night life surrounding the premises. It's really loud until about 2 am when the bars close. For those of us wanting a nice walk or run there is the Miss River levee thar is paved for exercisers. Their restaurant is good and other nice dining options are within walking distance. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would retur
